My friend owns The Original Pancake House in Betheda and Rockville, Maryland and one in Virginia. Every Christmas, he closes the doors to his restaurants and hosts free meals for the homeless. Last year he fed around 600 people! Usually, each guest receives a gift bag. This year, he would like to give each guest a hand knitted or crocheted scarf. I am helping him achieve this goal. If you knit or crochet or know people who do, I am asking you to make a scarf for a man, woman or child. They can be any size, color or material. If you would like to attach an annoymous, uplifting note to your scarf, that would be wonderful. Please indicate if your scarf is for a man, woman or child. This is a great beginners project if you have always wanted to learn to knit or crochet. I know we can do this!! Thank you.
